In this international seminar of the Initiative for Responsible AI in Medicine at Tel Aviv University (19 February 2026, on Zoom), Dr. Nancy Berlinger, Senior Research Scholar at The Hastings Center, explores the ethical dimensions of framing AI as a "solution" to the challenges of aging societies. The talk examines how population aging and AI co-shape public narratives about longevity, cognitive and physical decline, shrinking families and social isolation, and asks what responsible, normatively grounded approaches should guide the integration of AI in medicine and aging societies. Moderated by Dr. Amir Tal.
